Hiking Mt. Equinox

Great Little Place!

Delightful, friendly place to stay while in the area. The pub menu has something for everyone ( nacho plate is huge) and the bar has a wonderful collection of Scotch whisky at extremely reasonable prices. Rooms are well appointed and clean. The owner/operators were warm and friendly. We will be back next year!

Eastern slopes of Mount Equinox

The Equinox Preserve covers 914 acres of forest lands on the eastern slopes of Mount Equinox in Manchester, Vermont. It is open to the public for year-round, non-motorized recreation. Over 11 miles of marked and maintained trails provide access to these unique mountainous woodlands.  From the North Shire Lodge, turn left and go North on 7A, turn left on Prospect St., and left on West Union St.  At the end of the road is a parking area, and trail maps can be found at the kiosk.   The Blue trail is a difficult but rewarding hike that will take you to the summit of Mt. Equinox.

Our go to place ..

Whether its the whole family or a long weekend getaway .. We always feel relaxed when living and planning our next trip back. Chatting with new people and some people we have met before. Maybe a night cap or early dinner in the pub…. Great views all seasons. Great hosts Tim & Kerry!
