Sunday, May 27 Come get a summertime snow fix when we reopen for a day in May for the rail and jump jam. Skiers and boarders won’t want to miss the Second Annual Stratton Mountain MAY-hem jam, a freestyle mash up, ‘park builder’s pick’ event built from the snow saved from the massive US Open features. Compete for cred, cash and swag.

Green grass, blue skies and some of the tightest features you’ve seen all season. Get a summertime snow fix and show off the tricks you perfected all winter. Sugar Maples like these at the North Shire Lodge are Being Tapped for Maple Sap Now!

It has been a mild Winter.   Signs of Spring are cropping up.   Warmer temperatures are forecast and daffodils poking through the ground.   Yet there is still great skiing to be done on Stratton and Bromley Mountains!    Looks like we will have a mud-less mud season this year.   Spring cleanup will be a breeze.    If you are not a skier, there is great hiking and walking close by, and you can do it now!  It is always a great time to go hiking when the weather is cool and the leaves are not yet on the trees.   I’ll be looking foward to hiking up Mt. Equinox this spring, after the last bit of snow and ice has melted away.   Next week my 6 year old grandson will be visiting and we’ll be going for  a “walk in the woods”.   Life is good.   Especially in Vermont.   We’re here to share it with you.   We offer a unique option for Lodging in Manchester Vermont – a bed and breakfast inn with privacy and a very unique Pub that is there for you to enjoy.

Leap Year Day gave us the best snowfall of the season, and today, March 1st it continues.   We have several inches of new snow on the ground now with more on the way this afternoon.   Great time to get up and get some more skiing in before the season ends!
